Garry Oliver & Shane Coulter are HIA Greensmart Professional designers and builders and we have been constructing environmentally sustainable, quality homes since 1991.

Our Design Objectives

Our primary objective when designing your new home is to blend sustainable design principles with your ongoing lifestyle needs to create a residence that wil meet your lifestyle expectations while minimising its environmental footprint.

We will give you a comfortable home needing only minimal heating and cooling which allows you to enjoy the best of natural ventilation. It will provide you with lower ongoing running costs whilst being cool in summer and warm in winter. Most importantly, it will reduce your family's greenhouse gas emissions and provide ongoing future cost savings considering the potential impact of likely future emissions trading schemes.

Environmental sustainability is foremost throughout the process including materials recycling and site management to ensure sediment and waste control during building.

For those clients that wish to express their individuality, we will assist you to interpret your hopes and dreams so that together, in a very practical way, we will create a home as original as every client and within the specified budget. No design is ever repeated.

Alternatively, any of our existing designs can be adopted as a starting point for a potential new home. This can be particularly helpful for clients who may not have not built a home before. Once your design is selected, it can be modified to incorporate your individual needs, tastes and budget, as well as being enhanced to incorporate specific sizes and to meet the requirements of the site analysis.
